:: Pastor George's Biography ::
Pastor George Saad, the founder of the Pentecostal Evangelical Rock Eternal Church in Lebanon, has an objective to proclaim the Kingdom of God, destroy the works of the devil, unchain the shackles, and release people eternally from the lake of fire with the love of the Heavenly Father and the guidance of the Holy Spirit along with his faithful team. He has started this mission in Lebanon but plans to expand to every country in the Middle East.
This vision started on an unexpected day after being miraculously healed through the wounds of Christ from typhoid at the age of fourteen. Furthermore, the vision became even clearer when baptized by the fire of the Holy Spirit in 1998. Pastor Georges Saad was so dedicated to Christ that he decided to even give up his most precious profession, kung fu. He loved it to an extent that he gave it all his time to become the winner of several national championships between 1986 an 1996.
After serving in the military, he acquired a job as model architecture from 1996 to 1998. He then accepted another job as project manager in 1998-1999.
However, the Lord had much bigger and different plans for Pastor George. After receiving a word from Him and following his inner peace, he traveled to Uppsala, Sweden in 1999 to excel in bible studies and graduate from World of Life Bible center in 2000, withholding his position as associate pastor in Lebanon from 1998 to 2000.
“Is it not yet a very little while till Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful filed be esteemed as a forest? In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness. The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the terrible one is brought to nothing, the scornful one is consumed, and all who watch for iniquity are cut off-“ ( Isaiah 29: 17-20) During the year of his studies, the LORD revealed to Pastor George that he will have a major role in the fulfillment of this prophecy.
The Rock Eternal Church was inaugurated on June 20, 2001. He has been God’s and the church’s faithful pastor up to this day. On September 2002, he was joined in holy matrimony to Maryam Saad and was later on blessed with a baby girl in September 2004.
Throughout the years, this long term vision is being achieved step by step with the Lord being his guidance. On the road to planting churches throughout Lebanon and the Middle-East, home churches were the stepping stone. Then, The Rock Eternal Magazine with a worldwide distribution was established by Pastor George with great success and evolved at such a rapid pace. Moreover, he established The Heroes of David ministry in Lebanon in 2006.
“Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength” (Isaiah 26:4). Being built on the Rock Eternal, nothing is impossible.
The mission will be accomplished in Jesus’ name, the Kingdom of God will be proclaimed, the devil’s works will be destroyed, the shackles will be unchained, and the conqueror has already been announced: “… be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16: 33).
:: The Rock Eternal Church Belief ::
About God –
We believe that there is only one living and true God,
eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,
equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all and
governs all.
The Bible –
We believe
that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully
inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of
faith and practice.
About Father God –
We
believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness,
wisdom, power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of
men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all
who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
About Jesus Christ –
We
believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit.
We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teaching, His
substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven,
perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to earth.
About the Holy Spirit –
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict
the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and
empower for ministry all who believe in Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit
indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper,
Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in
the exercise of all the biblical gifts of the Spirit.
About Human Beings –
We
believe that people are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in
character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although each has a
tremendous potential for good, all men are sinners by nature and choice and are,
therefore, under condemnation. We believe that God regenerates, by the Holy
Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
About the Return of Christ –
We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to earth
for the establishment of His kingdom; in the resurrection of the body, the final
judgment, eternal blessing of the righteous and endless suffering of the wicked.
About the Priesthood of every Believer –
The Bible teaches that every Christian is called to
"fulltime" Christian service, regardless of his or her vocation. We practice the
truth that every believer is a minister by encouraging every member to find a
place of service and ministry. Every believer has direct access to God through
prayer and Bible reading.
About the Baptism with the Holy Spirit –
We practice laying-on-of-hands for the baptism with the Holy
Spirit, and believe that there will be a subsequent spiritual manifestation.
Divine Healing – We practice laying-on-of-hands for the sick and the prayer of
faith to accompany healing. We believe God still does miracles today and
petition Him regularly to intervene.
About Telling Others about Christ
– It is the responsibility of every Christian to share the Good
News with those God brings us in contact with. We practice personal sharing
about Christ and inviting friends to church.
